Cholesterol and Shrimp

High cholesterol and shrimp have been linked since the 1990's.
Our shelled buddies have gotten a bad rap, though. According to the American Heart Association, shrimp had been wrongly accused, but lots of people, including some doctors, still believe this myth. In reality, a serving of shrimp contains about as much cholesterol as white meat chicken. Keep in mind that the shrimp should be prepared in a healthy manner. Deep frying does not count as healthy.

lol…yeah it gets a bad rep cause it's usually sitting in a bed of drawn butter or surrounded by fettichini alfredo; shrimp is such an awesome food and I think it's good you show it can be healthy…if prepared properly.
